I come from a rare and ancient species born with the gift to transform into anything we see or imagine. But such power made us feared, even by our own. To protect the world and ourselves, we hid deep within enchanted forests, away from human eyes.When one of us comes of age, we must take a sacred test. If we pass, we may stay. If we fail… we are banished.I trained my whole life for that test.But when the moment came... I couldn’t transform. No matter how hard I tried, the magic wouldn’t come. And in their eyes my parents’ eyes I saw only disappointment. I failed.That was the last time I saw them.I don’t remember much after that just waking up, alone, in a field near a human town. I was scared... but I thought, maybe, if I looked human, I could blend in.I imagined a face… and bam! I transformed. I did it!
I was human!But before I could even step into town, some humans saw me change. They kidnapped me, dragged me off to sell me on the black market.And then… he found me.
A man with a smile too kind to trust.
He told me I'd be safe.
He lied.That place… it was a lab. And I was the experiment.
Every day, tests. Every day, pain. I was losing hope.Until it appeared. A voice in the dark. A spirit with a deal.“Let me in, and I’ll give you power. We’ll escape together.”I was desperate.
